Entertainment UK is the largest distributor of music and film CD/DVDs and electronic games to major retail grocers and high street multiples.

E.UK asked CVL to support them in defining the process and requirements for the integration of two key Virgin processes.

The CVL Solution

CVL worked with both E.UK and Virgin to define the new processes required for the business integration. CVL defined all the system requirements for "Direct to Store" deliveries and all returns processes.

As part of the project CVL completed investigation visits to all relevant customer sites and identified every area of major complexity. These included "Direct to Store" and all other supplier deliveries.

By the end of the project CVL delivered 'end to end' mapping across all the entertainment product categories.

The Benefits

The CVL team was able to quickly grasp the requirements of the project and began to construct answers almost immediately.

Once identified, processes were described in a high level of detail, enabling the development team to have all they required to rapidly construct the solution.

CVL was able to suggest suitable alternative processes for customers and VAT recovery for internationally located stores.
