The Background


Metro International publishes free newspapers in over 100 major cities in 20 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia to circa 23 million daily readers.

With pressure on maintaining print ad revenue growth, the business decided to embark on an ambitious programme to develop a global online platform that would link a worldwide audience through the innovative use of interactive content.

Due to the scale and complexity of the programme, Metro asked CVL for support in strategic planning and in managing a successful delivery.
