The Background
When JJB signed partnership deals with Everton and Rangers football Clubs, CVL was tasked with helping to provide order fulfilment capabilities for the clubs’ product ranges through JJB’s online retail facility.
JJB had a tight schedule - it needed a physical fulfilment operation, to be managed within its existing distribution centre, within 12 weeks.

Working tirelessly during the limited time period CVL managed to design the operation, implement, test and evaluate the go live whilst identifying other efficiencies within our existing returns operations. The CVL Solution
CVL worked closely with JJB to understand the fulfilment requirements at every level, with a stock inventory processes for replenishing the fast moving products being identified.
CVL then designed and managed the operational layout, including materials handling and space requirements. Additionally, CVL also developed a manpower plan to meet peaks and troughs in trading.
The Benefits
Together, CVL and JJB developed an efficient solution within budget and to deadline. The solution is scalable - allowing JJB to add additional clubs or propositions in the future. CVL was also instrumental in selecting and training the JJB team responsible for operating the fulfilment process.
